The Adversary holds the sword, but suddenly faints after sensing overwhelming hostility and resentment from the sword (due to the Adversary wielding the power of the Seal Stone, which was used to seal away the Ancient Gods). Cernium's prince Carlisle shows the sword to the Adversary (the player character) and Edea, and suggests that the Adversary attempt to the sword. Seren is later appointed guardian of the Holy Sword Azor, Mitra's special sword which can only be wielded by an unknown Chosen One. After High Mountain was ravaged by the Apostle of Lightning Havoc, the Celestials spread out, with one of the Celestials named Seren staying dedicated to Mitra's order. The disappearance of the Ancient Gods also resulted in the Celestials losing their powers and becoming trapped in Grandis, forcing them to settle in a location nearby named High Mountain and form an order dedicated to Mitra. As a result, the worshipers of Dawn would eventually become Dawn Priests that worshipped Nerota, and the worshippers of Sunset would eventually become Flame Priests that worshipped Spisa. Over the centuries, the origins of the sun's different forms were forgotten and the worshipers would forget that these gods were one and the same. After the Ancient Gods were sealed away, the Sun God's followers split into three different factions that worshipped the sun's different forms. Many of Mitra's followers consisted of Celestials, a race of demigods with wings on their backs and in place of ears. Worshipers of old believed that the Sun brought hope at Dawn, justice at Noon, and flaming passion at Sunset. Mitra had many facets based on the sun's location throughout the day. Mitra the Sun God is worshipped by Cernium's Royal Family and Mitra's order. Seren, under Mitra's control, in her Midday / Noon form Though tranquil and quiet in demeanor, Mitra is righteous and benevolent.īut in the face of injustice, her wrath is unparalleled. Though little is known about this God, it seems that they have a strong fixation on order, having created the Overseers to quell the chaos caused by the Ancient Gods. The Primordial God is responsible for the original 365 creations, and later, the three worlds. The Primordial God is the progenitor of all creation, having created the Ancient Gods, the Overseers, and the Transcendents. With order now enforced and a future now set in stone, the Ancient Gods were prevented from reawakening, with many of them either being weakened or going extinct. The Primordial God created godlike beings known as the Overseers, who in turn created three worlds and three Transcendents for each world, with each world receiving each a Transcendent of Life, Light, and Time. There was one god that maintained everything, known as the Primordial God, who wanted to maintain order. And since Nexon Korea actually cares about their players, they'd revert it immediately. In the beginning, there were 365 creations and 365 gods, following 365 different laws. However, this disorder created mass chaos. The player backlash would be just as, if not worse than GMS's. Now imagine if KMS suddenly had to go by UTC. Even Europeans playing in GMS before the merge accepted that they had to go by an American timezone. You don't go into a foreign country expecting everyone to know your language. EMS merged to GMS, which means they abide by our timezones, not us theirs. GMS players have been going by PST for years and now all that is thrown away. And this isn't even about satisfying anyone. No matter how much you call it universal, it's clear that it's biased in favour of Europe. It's physically impossible for there to be a universal timezone, so the best that can be done is satisfy as much people as possible. You can't say because UTC is a "reference" that it's universal or fair in any way. Nexon created a problem and now they stubbornly refuse to solve it. There would be not a single problem with events ending early or people not being able to finish before they end if they didn't change to UTC. Players would never have any reason to complain if they didn't change to UTC. Nexon would never have any timezone issues if they didn't change to UTC. What went through the heads of those at Nexon when they decided on these times? Luckily it's a little more lenient for me in EST, but the PST time is utterly ridiculous. I can't wait for the pro UTC people to defend this
